V-LIB is a library classification system based on the V-Frame. It replaces Dewey’s library classification system in an outstanding manner. It is now ranked as one of the main English Language Universal Classifications Systems (see Wikipedia) and is, in our opinion, by far the best library classification system available in the world. Not only because of its philosophy and logics, nor its exhaustivity where fields of knowledge are concerned but also because it allows any reader to know in advance, with more or less precision, where any book may be shelved in any library using V-LIB. The study is only 25 pages long (no need for more) and classifies slightly over 700 domains of knowledge in science and arts: the longest such list in the world and one regularly updated as new disciplines emerge. It is obviously, like Dewey’s, expandable where subjects and sub-fields are concerned since using an expandable double digit system. It also designed for persons with a visual/colour deficiency. A sample type page is shown below although this page, unlike many others, does not contain notes. V-LIB 1.3 (2018) LICENSES

£ 2500 for small companies or institutions (under 50 employees).

£ 5000 for medium size companies or institutions (between 50 and 250 employees).

£ 10000 for large companies or institutions (250 employees or more, or governmental license).
